The assessment loading process is a two-step process:

  1. Upload assessments for processing, which generates an import file.

  2. Import file is imported into the ODS for the district to eventually view via the CCMR Insights Dashboard.

The first step in the process involves uploading assessment files via the Assessment Load page within the Ed-Fi Management Application:

At the top of the page, there is a field where you will select the file(s) to be uploaded. Multiple files can be loaded at one time. After selecting the file(s), click the blue “upload” button to upload the file(s).

After the file is uploaded, the “student ID mismatch” section on the Assessment Load page will list any records in the assessment file(s) for which a corresponding student id could not be found in the ODS.

  • Note: Because an assessment score is matched with a student by using the student’s first name, last name, and date of birth, these fields MUST be populated accurately in the assessment file.

If all assessment data rows in the file are reconciled to students who appear in the student information system, then the following message will appear (in top-right of web page):

An error message (see below) will appear if only some of the assessment data rows in the file are reconciled to students who appear in the student information system.

If none of the assessment data rows in the file can be reconciled to students who appear in the student information system, the error message below will appear:
