View the steps below that you will follow to launch CCMR Insights in your district.
Step 1: If you have not already expressed interest, complete the CCMR Insights interest survey.
Step 2. Participate in kick-off meeting and sign MOU with ESC Region 10. During the kick-off meeting, we will discuss the technical steps in the implementation process, training for your end users, the timeline, and the roles and responsibilities for your district team. We suggest that people in the following roles attend the kick-off meeting:
Superintendent or designee
CCMR Director
Technology Director
Assessment/Accountability Director
Other leaders in your district who should be part of the decision-making process
Step 3. Develop district implementation plan, which should include the following (view template with guiding questions):
Establish CCMR leadership team to oversee implementation.
Determine how to use CCMR Insights to attain the district’s CCMR board goals or CCMR-related goals in the district’s strategic plan.
Outline responsibilities and expectations for staff who serve in different roles.
Create district timeline for implementation that is integrated into your broader CCMR calendar (view Garland ISD’s CCMR calendar as a starting point).
Load data into CCMR Insights from the student information system, assessments, and attributes.
Verify the data available in CCMR Insights is accurate.
Train end users (consider sessions by role).
Develop (and then monitor) data upload calendar to ensure data in CCMR Insights is refreshed on a regular basis.
Schedule follow-up sessions with end users to discuss how to use the data (e.g., data dives, strategy development, intervention planning, etc.)
Analyze the data and develop action plans to improve CCMR outcomes in your district.
Step 4: Work with your student information system vendor to enable the Ed-Fi connector (note: there may be a charge). Via the Ed-Fi connector, load data from your student information system into your district’s CCMR Insights dashboard. The ESC 10 team will assist with this step.
Step 5: Load assessment data.
Step 6: Load attribute data.
Step 7: Quality assurance check. District leaders and end users check the data for accuracy. Use the quality assurance guide to understand the data sources for each CCMR indicator on the dashboard.
Step 8: Participate in train-the-trainer session and design district training for end users. View draft PowerPoint presentation and notes for trainers.
Step 9: Implement your district implementation plan and start using data from CCMR Insights to improve CCMR outcomes in your district.
