OnRamps is a dual enrollment program offered by the University of Texas at Austin (UT). Students across Texas have the opportunity to take courses that were designed by UT professors and that mirror courses that UT students take.

  • OnRamps offers 15 courses in multiple disciplines, including science, mathematics, technology, and the humanities.

  • Students may earn both high school credit and college credit from UT Austin. Students may decline the college credit if they are not satisfied with their performance in the course.

  • High school teachers at participating high schools teach the courses. OnRamps provides teachers with professional development opportunities to support their delivery of rigorous content in distance and hybrid learning environments.

  • Students do not need to meet TSI standards to enroll in an OnRamps course.
