Step 1. Log in to the Ed-Fi Management dashboard.

Step 2. Prepare your files for loading.

  • File naming: Each attribute attributes/certificates file should be a comma-separated file (CSV). The file naming convention is description.csvwhere:

    • description is any description you would like to add

    • yyy is the file type extension, which should be .csv

  • File formatting: View the CSV templates below for more detail about the required format for the student attributes file and the student certificates file.

Step 3. Upload your attribute attributes/certificates files via the “Student Attributes” section within the Ed-Fi Management dashboard. As with assessments, the attribute loading process is a two-step process:

  1. Upload attributes/certificates for processing, which generates an import file.

  2. Import file is imported into the ODS for the district to eventually view via the CCMR Insights Dashboard.

There will be a delay between these two steps. Attribute Attributes/Certificates data that was were uploaded via the Ed-Fi Monitoring Management dashboard will only be visible on the district’s CCMR Insights Dashboard dashboard after the nightly refresh has been completed.
