CCMR-related updates and guidance from TEA and the Texas Legislature
Beginning September 1, 2021, students who enlist in the Texas National Guard (HB 1147, 87th Legislature) will qualify as military ready.
As of Fall 2020, TEA will not use PEIMS military enlistment data for the purposes of A-F accountability or HB3 CCMR Outcomes Bonuses. They will only use data supplied directly from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
Texas Education Code §29.9015 (Texas Senate Bill 1843) requires each school district to provide students in grades 10 through 12 with an opportunity to take the ASVAB test--or qualify for an exception-- and consult with a military recruiter.
