Beginning with the 2021-2022 school year, each senior in the class of 2022 must complete and submit a free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) or a Texas application for
state financial aid (TASFA) before graduating from high school or formally opt out of the requirement (TEC §28.0256, 19 TAC §74.11(b)).
